You will work with low, medium, and high-voltage equipment and play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of customer electrical infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform testing, inspection, startup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical power systems ranging from low voltage through high-voltage applications.\nTest and maintain switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, MCCs, and associated power distribution equipment.\nConduct preventive maintenance, acceptance testing, and commissioning activities on electrical equipment and systems.\nPerform insulation testing, relay testing, cable testing, infrared inspections, and transformer diagnostics.\nTroubleshoot electrical and control system issues and recommend corrective actions.\nCollect, analyze, and document testing data and prepare clear technical reports.\nUtilize electrical testing equipment and follow established testing procedures and standards.\nRespond to customer service calls and participate in emergency response or on-call rotations as needed.\nMaintain compliance with all safety procedures, regulations, and industry standards.\nWork closely with customers, project teams, and management to deliver high-quality service and support.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum 1+ years of experience in electrical field service, electrical testing, commissioning, maintenance, power systems, industrial electrical work, utilities, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of electrical theory and power distribution systems.\nUnderstanding of OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and electrical safety standards.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer-based reporting systems.\nAbility to travel and work occasional overtime when required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nNETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV).\nExperience leading projects, mentoring junior technicians, or coordinating field activities.\nExperience with electrical testing on systems up to 230kV or higher.\nHands-on experience with:\nProtective relay testing\nTransformer testing and diagnostics\nCircuit breaker testing and maintenance\nMedium- and high-voltage switchgear\nCable testing\nInfrared thermography\nPower factor testing (Doble or similar equipment)\nSubstation commissioning and startup activities\n\nMilitary electrical power experience, including Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, Navy electrical systems, or related programs.\n\nWhat We Offer\n$35/hr - $85 /hr\nCompetitive compensation based on experience and certifications.\nOvertime opportunities.\nTravel per diem for qualifying overnight assignments.\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance.\n401(k) with company match.\nPaid time off and holidays.\nCareer growth and technical training opportunities.\nRelocation assistance available for highly qualified candidates.\n\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
