This work will span multiple organizations and require working with vendors and additional teams to design and implement pilot solutions and package these solutions for deployment into the operational environment. The AWS Cloud Engineer will be expected to take a concept idea and independently progress the concept through the plan, code, build, test, and release phases of the solution's life cycle utilizing their expertise in DevSecOps principles and AWS services.\r\nKey Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement secure AWS cloud infrastructure solutions to achieve customer success while adhering to best practices and security principles\r\nImplement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring version control and repeatability of infrastructure deployments\r\nProactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability\r\nContribute to the development of internal documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and process documentation\r\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement\r\nEvangelize the adoption of DevSecOps principles, improving environment security and reliability\r\nSuccessfully collaborate across various technology disciplines.\r\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS services, security best practices, and emerging industry trends\r\nQualifications Required Candidate must be a US Citizen\r\nSecret security clearance or ability to obtain one\r\nAt least 5-7 years of experience working in AWS and with DevSecOps tooling\r\nAssociate-level or higher AWS certification\r\nDemonstrated experience in implementing and managing DevSecOps processes and tools such as CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, CodePipeline, Jenkins) and IaC frameworks (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)\r\nProficiency in one or more general use programing/scripting languages (Python, NodeJS, Bash, PowerShell) and version control systems (Git)\r\nStrong knowledge of AWS security best practices, including network security, encryption, and identity management\r\nExperience with OS and network administration\r\nFamiliarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Elastic)\r\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\r\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\r\nAbility to work with ambiguous and abstract concepts, as the candidate will often have to resolve complex customer inquiries\r\nAbility to multi-task and flex when priorities change\r\nAbility to influence through teamwork and collaboration\r\nPassion to learn new concepts and technologies to actively expand skill set\r\nPassion to provide world-class customer service\r\nPreferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field\r\nAssociate-level or higher AWS certification\r\nReady to Apply?
