This role needs to be driving distance to El Segundo, CA for occasional once every 4-8 week onsite meetings. This role requires quarterly travel for 3-5 days in the domestic USA.This position will partner closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient payroll processes, system functionality, compliance, and data accuracy. Responsibilities:Support payroll software integration and migration projectsPartner with HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to integrate payroll systems with HRIS and financial platformsAssist with system implementations and ensure seamless data flow between systemsTroubleshoot integration issues and identify opportunities for optimizationAnalyze payroll data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunitiesSupport payroll process improvement initiatives across multiple locationsWork with benefits, compliance, and implementation teams to support payroll system updates and changesConduct payroll system audits to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and complianceReview payroll processes for minimum wage, overtime, and multi-state complianceManage payroll system security, user access, and governance controlsConfigure, test, and implement payroll system updates, enhancements, and new functionalityCreate and maintain payroll system rules to support new business policiesIdentify opportunities for automation and process efficienciesRecommend and implement payroll best practicesServe as a key point of contact for payroll-related projects and initiativesCommunicate payroll matters to leadership, HR, Finance, and other stakeholdersSupport capacity-building initiatives, automation efforts, ticketing processes, and operational improvementsFoster a collaborative, team-oriented work environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferredMinimum 3-6+ years of payroll system integration experience requiredExperience supporting payroll system implementations, integrations, or migrationsExperience working with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and payroll-related dataStrong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and data managementExperience with vendor management and external system partnersExperience with Power BI, reporting, analytics, or similar toolsStrong troubleshooting, process improvement, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesPayroll management experience is a plusExperience supporting multi-state payroll environments preferredPaylocity experience is highly preferredConsulting, advisory, or large-scale transformation experience is a plusThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
