Job Title: System Engineer Job Location: Carmel, IN Job duration : 9 months Job description:Expertise in requirements engineering, including functional decomposition of feature level requirements into algorithmic and system level specifications.Ability to act as a technical owner of automotive Occupant Sensing features, driving clarity and system coherence across algorithm, software, hardware, and testing teams.Ability to analyze, understand, explain, and communicate model architectures, data flows, state machines, and fault strategiesPerform requirement analysis, system architecture, feature developmentCapability to review and challenge design decisions, identify gaps, and ensure technical robustness at system levelExperience with requirements Management tools like DOORS, Polarion, Architecture management tools like Enterprise Architect/RhapsodyCommunication, Diagnostic (UDS ISO14229)network layers of various serial communication protocols(CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, SENT)Hands on experience with tools such as oscilloscopes, Vector CAN Analyzer/CANoe etcStructured problem solving tools (5Y, Fish Bone)Vehicle network topology, Over the Air(OTA), HW schematics understanding and debugging skills.Automotive Product Development Process knowledge (ASPICE)Knowledge and understanding of Functional Safety and automotive CyberSecurity. SkillsGood Communication SkillsGood Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment Preferred Skills:Working Experience in Occupant sensing domain or Airbag domain will be an added advantage
