Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Patient Intake Representative to join our team at 50 Alessandro Place Suite A10 Pasadena, CA 91105.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm and rotating weekends\nJob Responsibilities:\nSchedule patient appointments and greet patients upon appointment arrival\nEnsure a welcoming environment for all patients and visitors\nAssist patients with registration and check in procedures\nData entry of patient demographics and billing information\nVerification of insurance coverage and collect/post payments to patient accounts\nCollect and prepare specimens for testing and analysis when needed\nCall physician offices to confirm the accuracy of test orders\nMonitor and log patient wait times on a regular basis\nNotify the supervisor of any patient issues in a timely manner\nPromote and provide information about LabCorp patient services\nManage office supplies to ensure proper inventory levels\nOpen and close the office when required\nPerform administrative and clerical duties as necessary\nJob Requirements:\nRequires a High School Diploma, or equivalent\n1-year health care data entry, medical insurance experience is preferred\nStrong communication skills; both written and verbal\nAbility to work independently or in a team environment\nComfortable working under minimal supervision\nAt Labcorp, we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.\nPay Range: $20.00 - $29.27 per hour\nAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.\nPST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
