The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining centerless grinding machines to meet our high-quality standards. This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and precision of our manufactured parts, and therefore requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of technical skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nOperate and maintain centerless grinding machinery to produce high-quality parts.\nUse precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to check and ensure the accuracy of work performed.\nInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of the product.\nApply knowledge of tool and die, machining, and GD&T to the grinding process.\nPerform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.\nTroubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues in a timely manner.\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.\nCollaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and enhance productivity.\n\nQualifications:\n\nAt least 5 years of experience as a Centerless Grinder or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.\nProficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.\nIn-depth knowledge of tool and die, machining, and GD&T.\nAbility to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.\nExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve machine-related issues promptly.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nA strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the manufacturing industry.\nPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.
