Our receptionist plays an important role on the team, working alongside office and operations staff to keep things running smoothly. You'll be the first voice our customers hear — and a key part of how we deliver a great experience from first call to job completion.Responsibilities• Answer phones and direct callers in a professional and helpful manner• Take detailed messages and deliver to the intended party promptly• Schedule customer appointments with estimators; assess project type to determine phone vs. in-person estimate• Be familiar with the surrounding area to appropriately schedule estimators• Track customers from initial contact through job completion• Assist management with office projects including filing, emailing, and organizing• Assist with AP/AR duties as needed• Keep the office clean and organized• Other duties as assignedRequirements• Strong attention to detail — this is a must• One year of general office experience required• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs• Experience with multiline phones, scanners, fax, and other office equipment• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Fast learner with ability to prioritize workflow• Self-motivated, organized, reliable, and punctual• Able to handle stress and work well in a collaborative team environment• Process-oriented with strong work ethicPreferred Qualifications• Experience with QuickBooks (preferred but not required)• Construction office experience a plus• Bilingual a plusBenefitsAvailable after successful completion of a 60-day introductory period:• Medical, dental, and vision insurance — company covers 75% of monthly premium• 401(k) with company match up to 4% of base salary• Holiday pay for company-recognized holidays• Paid vacation — starting at 5 days per year after 6 months of employment, with additional time earned as you grow with the company• Paid sick time• Bi-weekly pay schedule Company DescriptionRainier Fencing & Decking located in Auburn, WA the Puget Sounds premier fence builder.
