Electrician- Leesburg/ Potential Wage Scale Work

Electrician We are looking for an entry level electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, and troubleshooting malfunctions. Responsibilities: Perform electrical work and/or assist electricians by performing various tasks and material handling under the direct supervision of assigned electrician installing the work Perform electrical work and/or assist electricians with properly mounting and installing assigned electrical work, conduit, cable tray, wires and devices Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for fire alarms and other systems Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, circuit-breaker panels etc.) Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units Perform a variety of duties which may change often Requirements and Skills: Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Manual dexterity: Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, specifically in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have own basic electrical hand tools. Language: Bilingual in English/ Spanish is preferred.
