This support includes the following:\nProvide software engineering to support DoD Developmental Test, & Evaluation events.\nWork with the software development team and system stakeholders in developing software following Agile programming and Software Development Lifecycle principles.\nDevelop and maintain Windows based software in multiple Object-Oriented programming languages.\nDevelop and maintain XSD Schema format files.\nProvide software support to end users.\nDevelop software technical and user documentation.\nProvide test execution support related to the use of software developed and data collected.\nDevelop solutions to complex problems requiring regular use of ingenuity and creativity.\nAttend meetings as necessary to provide briefings, information and recommendations.\nAny other related duties as directed.\n\nAt COLSA, people are our most valuable resource and centered at our core value. We invite you to unite your talents with opportunity and be a part of our “Family of Professionals!” Learn about our employee-centric culture and benefits here.\n\nRequired Experience\n\nMust have one of the following combinations of education and experience:\nBachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 3 to 5 years of applicable experience\nAssociate's Degree in a STEM field and 7 to 9 years of applicable experience\nHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10 to 13 years of applicable experience\nU.S. Citizenship required; Must be able to obtain an interim DoD Secret clearance prior to employment start date and within 3 weeks of job acceptance\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret (Single Scope Background Investigation) clearance\nCurrent CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification\nExperience with .NET programming languages including C# and VB.NET\nExperience with software testing, fault isolation and resolution\nExperience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle\nGood technical written and oral communication skills\nAble to travel to contractors' facilities, test sites, and other locations up to 15% of the time.\nComfortable working in a team environment or individually with minimal supervision.\n\nPreferred Experience:\nThrough understanding of basic networking (routing/switching/ VLANS/firewalls.)\nExperience with networking hardware, configuration, and protocols desired\nExperience with Microsoft C++ and Visual Basic programming\nExperience with Java programming language and the Eclipse and/or NetBeans IDE\nSolid understanding of XSD schema format files and how to maintain and enhance schema rulesets\nBasic experience with Agile programming—specifically SCRUM Framework\nFamiliarity in source control, configuration control software; GIT experience\nProficient with MS Team Foundation Server, Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite\nUnderstanding of tactical data links and protocols (Link 16, SADL, JREAP)\nKnowledgeable of MIL-STD-6016, MIL-STD-3011, and MIL-STD-1553\nFamiliar with DoD software certification and Risk Management Framework Assess and Authorize processes\nCurrent DoD Top Secret (Single Scope Background Investigation) clearance\nExperience working with Special Access Programs\nApplicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
