Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.\n\nAs part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will perform the testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of fluid systems associated with launch facilities and space vehicles. Passion for our mission and vision is required!\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nCollaborate with teams to build, operate, and maintain a world class launch site and launch vehicle\n\nAuthor and run procedures for commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and fluid system operations\n\nCollaborate on system safety, perform hazards analysis and job hazards analyses; guide work using hierarchy of controls for safety\n\nOperate and maintain launch pad piping systems including hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems\n\nAssist with oversight commissioning and operation of new or modified piping/pressure systems\n\nOccasional travel may be necessary\n\nOccasional second shift may be necessary\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBS degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering or similar discipline\n\n2+ years relevant experience with design or fluid system operation, including high pressure gas or high pressure hydraulic systems\n\nExperience writing and executing test plans and procedures for qualification, acceptance, and operations of hazardous and/or safety critical components and systems\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate with teams composed of multiple roles and disciplines to achieve a common goal\n\nAbility to earn trust and maintain positive professional relationships.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n2+ years of relevant experience with design or fluid system operation, including high pressure gas or high pressure hydraulic systems\n\n2+ years experience operating and troubleshooting mechanical and/or piping systems\n\nKnowledge of standard components, installation and fabrication methods of piping systems (pipe stock, fittings, connections, valves, fasteners, structural members, fitting, welding, etc.)\n\nKnowledge of typical use, constraints, and specification of fluid components typical in tubing and piping systems (valves, regulators, pumps, etc).\n\nExperience interpreting P&IDs, fabrication and installation drawings for piping systems.\n\nKnowledge of ASME B31.3 and in-field oversight of construction, testing and/or operations of piping systems\n\nExperience with design and operation of typical aerospace fuel, oxidizer and high-pressure pneumatic systems\n\nKnowledge of precision cleaning processes, cleanliness verification levels and passivation of stainless steel\n\nCulture Statement\n\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
