As an employee of Core Design, Inc, you will work with some of the most experienced and highly educated staff in the region, who strive to grow and promote staff from within.\nCurrently we are looking for a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Land Use Planner on a permanent, long-term basis.\nJob Description:\nResponsible for working with Senior Project Planners and Project Planners on all aspects of planning design. The Planner is reliant on design and scheduling direction. Tasks are primarily completed with significant oversight. The Planner must have some knowledge of Planning principles, City and County Code as well as software technical skills.\nPrepare preliminary plat plans, graphics, and other exhibits\nResearch zoning code and other requirements that pertain to feasibility studies and preliminary plat plans\nCollaborate with team members, other departments and consultants\nConduct site visits and document site conditions\nBachelor of Arts in Urban Planning or Architecture (or equivalent)\nKnowledge of the elements of planning and urban design\nStrong design skills, including conceptual sketching and drafting\nKnowledge of AutoCAD\nAbility to work both collaboratively and independently\nExcellent problem-solving skills\nAbility to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines\nDetail oriented\nStrong communication and organizational skills\nValid driver’s license required\nDirection: Reports to Director of Planning\nBenefits: Per the Core Design, Inc.
