You'll gain hands-on experience while applying engineering principles in a real-world environment.\n\nProgram Summary:\n\nAs a highly motivated undergraduate student, you will participate in a 12-week summer internship working alongside a mentor and BASF engineering and cross-functional teams.\n\nDepending on your assignment, your experience may include:\n\nSupporting engineering projects and day-to-day technical activities.\nApplying engineering principles to real-world projects, processes and operational challenges.\nCollecting, organizing and analyzing technical or operational data.\nIdentifying opportunities for process, productivity, quality or efficiency improvements.\nAssisting with the development, evaluation and implementation of engineering solutions.\nSupporting project planning, documentation and technical reporting.\nCollaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams across BASF.\nParticipating in safety, operational and project-related activities.\nDeveloping presentations, recommendations and other project deliverables.\nBuilding technical, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills through hands-on assignments.\n\nMobility is important for this program\n\nInternship assignments may be located in a variety of locations throughout the United States, including BASF's North American headquarters in the Raleigh, NC area.\n\nThroughout the summer, interns will receive ongoing feedback, mentorship and professional development opportunities.
