THAT is Link Snacks.\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating work orders, schedules, and preventive maintenance plans using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to maintain equipment at peak operating efficiency.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform the following:\nCreating preventative maintenance task, work orders, schedules, and maintenance plans detailing frequency, labor estimates, parts, and costs.\nHaving expert knowledge of each type of equipment in the plant\nCollaborating with operations to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime while keeping all equipment maintenance up to date.\nPartnering with Maintenance Supervisors to schedule work and maximize labor utilization\nCoordinating planned downtimes and working with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors\nCollaborating with other Planner(s) and Maintenance Supervisors across all shifts to develop work plans, ensure their timely execution, and proper documentation. Assisting Part Room Attendant to stock all critical spare parts and ordering parts required to complete all maintenance procedures.\nDeveloping procedures using OEM Manuals, P&IDs, drawings, schematics, and industry standards.\nMaintaining records and files for maintenance management using a CMMS.\nCreating new procedures using reliability, predictive, and preventative strategies.\nEstablishing goals and KPIs for the maintenance workforce\nGenerate reports using various maintenance, labor, and cost statistics.\nApplicability of regulations to facility equipment and processes. Including workplace safety, food safety, corporate standards, and environmental compliance.\nWorking with maintenance department team to develop and complete training for Maintenance Technicians.\nContributing to new equipment installations and continuous improvement while partnering with Engineering team.\nElectrical maintenance compliant with NFPA 70B\n\nQualifications\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nRequired Education:\nHigh School Diploma\nRequired Experience:\n2+ years planner experience in a manufacturing environment\nExperience with a CMMS\nPreferred:\nAssociates degree in applicable field or maintenance planner certification.\nFood industry experience.\nProcess Safety Management (PSM) compliance covered processes (ammonia refrigeration).\nWater and Wastewater experience\nREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES\nProven thorough understanding of automated equipment and machinery (process & packaging), HVAC, lighting, ammonia refrigeration, utility systems (i.e., boilers, hot water, glycol, etc.), ovens, material handling equipment, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and team members.\nMust demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and team member motivational skills.\nProficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and a computerized maintenance management system.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nThe starting rate for this role is $25.46 - $40.85(Hourly). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
