We work with the world's leading children's entertainment brands to manufacture and distribute exceptional products to every major mass retailer throughout North America and around the world.Job SummaryAs a plastic injection mold setup technician with Just Play, you will use your mechanical and machinery experience, and plastic injection mold experience, to play a key role in the production of plastic parts and components for a wide array of products.Principal ResponsibilitiesFollow work instructions to set up, start up, and maintain injection molding equipment and machinery and install and remove molds.Maintain optimum molding processes, perform material handling/storage, and other miscellaneous jobs.Evaluate parts per molding and finishing guidelines.Releases parts for molding via check-off documentationHook hoist to mold as well as lift mold from pressesMaintain InventoryMaintain accurate setup records and documentation.Identify and recommend replacement parts, tools, or accessories as needed.Provide training to operators on equipment operationPerform other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 1-3 years of plastics molding experience highly preferredCandidates with extensive mechanical or machinery backgrounds will be considered and trained.Plastic injection molding experienceStrong knowledge of machinery and equipmentStrong mechanical and problem-solving skillsManufacturing experience with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.Ability to lift heavy objects and maneuver tooling weighing up to 10,000 lbs using hoists or cranes.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with EPR/MRP Software preferredExperience with multimeters, air tools, hand tools, power tools, test equipment, gauges, scales, gantries, and hoists preferredKnowledge of the following machinery and equipment preferred: Conair Silo, control systems, chiller, forklift, scales, building water hose, hopper loaders, and new molds preferredJust Play is an equal opportunity employer.
