This role demands not only exceptional technical prowess but also strong leadership skills to inspire and guide our engineering teams towards innovation and excellence.\nThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and aligning technical efforts with broader business objectives. A forward-thinking mindset and a commitment to staying abreast of emerging technologies are crucial for long-term success in this role. This role will be reporting to the VP of Engineering.\n\nRequirements:\nWhat you’ll own:\nDrive the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects\nUtilize your talent assessment expertise to cultivate high-performing teams, guiding developers of all levels towards collaboration and growth\nMonitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet goals\nRecruit, onboard, and retain diverse technical talent\nPartner with Product Management, roadmap prioritization, project estimates, product development progress, launch plans, and overall product maintenance\nSet technical goals aligned with business objectives\nCollaborate with engineering leaders, product management, and agile coaches to develop key performance indicators (KPIs)\nManage operational tech stack and personnel budgets\nWhat you’re great at:\nAnalytical thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and a growth mindset\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nStrong architectural design experience in modern software design patterns\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nCultivating a positive and learning based culture for software teams\nNecessary Qualifications:\n7+ years of experience in product development, software engineering, data engineering, or UX engineering\n5+ years of experience managing high-performance technical teams\nProficiency with Agile methodologies, Git, and JIRA\nExpertise in AWS or relevant cloud technologies\nExperience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and tools\nExperience in a high-growth tech company\nWhy Kinective?\nWe’re transforming our industry.
