Foodliner-Birmingham ALFood Grade Trailer Pre-loader/Yard JockeyYard Jockey Experience PreferredFoodliner is looking for a motivated individual to assist in pre-loading dry bulk trailers and spotting of dry van trailers at our customer in Birmingham, AL. Foodliner, Inc. is one of the largest bulk food carriers in the country and a Transport Topics Top 100 carrier.Position:* Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM-7:00 AM. Weekends as needed.Benefits include:$20.50 starting pay. Overtime after 40 hours.Paid time off-80 hours in the first yearMedical, prescription, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability insurance401K with company matchCompany-paid life insurance policy ($50K)Weekly paychecksPaid orientation and trainingResponsibilities and Duties:Loading pneumatic bulk trailers and spotting dry van trailers in warehouse doorsComplete a daily yard check and keep an inventory of trailer poolDaily communication with mill personnelFollow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and company guidelinesMaintain housekeeping and organization of the yardSupport Terminal Manager in any operations as neededWill be working holidays (hourly pay plus holiday premium)Basic Qualifications:Class A CDL preferred but not required, and some tractor trailer or yard jockey experience necessary.
