SCADA Application Developer / Engineer","description":"Senior SCADA Application Developer / Engineer\r\nJob Term: Contract – (6+ months)\r\nInterview Mode: Phone and/or Virtual (Video) interview\r\nWe are looking to hire a contractor with the following expertise and may convert them as employee later on.\r\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\r\nProvide cutting-edge technical and/or functional contributions to application development teams.\r\nAnalyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient.\r\nDevises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, and prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.\r\nApplies appropriate development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools and technology.\r\nCollaborates on an ongoing basis with the Business Systems Analyst, Scrum master and Technology manager.\r\nParticipates in the ticket management and resolution processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and customer satisfaction.\r\nLeads large projects as needed.\r\nProvides direction, training and guidance to rest of team members.\r\nBuilds strong working understanding & documentation of the solution being delivered.\r\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.\r\nWorks in Hitachi GMS SCADA system & provides guidance to rest of team members.\r\nTechnical Qualifications\r\nMinimum 3 years of Hitachi GMS SCADA Experience with large systems & different connection setup with field devices.\r\nMinimum 8 years of Java programming experience.\r\n3+ Years of Python programming experience.\r\nMinimum 3 years of Unix/Linux working experience.\r\n3+ years of working experience with agile technologies & Jira tool.\r\nPERL programming experience is a plus.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nHigh School Grad / GED\r\nBachelor's or Equivalent Experience\r\nExperience: 8+ years\r\nSeniority level\r\nMid-Senior
