Works from blueprints, parts lists and assembly cards. Uses parts washers, freezers, ovens, cranes, fork trucks, hand and power tools. Can work alone, with other assemblers, and oversees lower grade assemblers. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.\n\nNecessary Prior Experience:\nIn order to do this job at a minimum satisfactory level, the employee must have had prior work experience in a particular kind of job in the company, or in a similar job with a different employer, state the kind of such experience that is required, must be able to meet many of these requirements.\n\nBasic Knowledge of Lean\nGeneral shop safety training\nShop computers\nParts washer use\nCrane operation and safety\nProper use of chains, shackles, and straps and must have the ability to be trained by peers\nOven or induction heaters operation and use.\nHydraulic torque wrench use in including torque specifications\nProper loctite use. (sealants)\nMeasuring equipment use(mic's, veneres,ect.)\nKnowledge of bearings\n\nEducational Requirements:\n\nA combination of formal education, training and experience to acquire knowledge and skills generally equivalent to those possessed by an experienced high school graduate. Typically 0-2 years prior experience in applicable industries.
