Each project is approached with the goal of launching or growing a product and creating a game-changer in the developer tools space.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role for a Developer Community Program Manager at builtfor.dev working alongside and for our CEO, Tessa Kriesel. The role involves managing developer community and marketing programs, engaging with the community, communicating effectively, and overseeing project and program development.You'll split your time between helping our CEO stay organized and on top of clients' developer program needs, engaging and growing our community of dev tool founders, VCs, & curious developers, and supporting our events, content marketing, and partnership efforts.We know this sounds like a heavy role wearing lots of hats, but between our automation, processes, and tooling, and your program management skillset, we'll get to do awesome work that doesn't lead to burnout. Instead, it leads to fulfillment and enjoying your work most meaningfully.QualificationsDeveloper Relations Program Management and Project Management skillsCommunity Engagement and Communication skillsExperience in Developer Relations Program or Community ManagementExcellent organizational and leadership skillsDetail-oriented, skilled at keeping people accountable and on-taskAbility to collaborate and work effectively with multiple clients and partnersUnderstanding of developer communities and dev tools ecosystemPrevious experience in developer relations or community management is a plusNo educational requirements; our CEO is self-taught and a 3x college dropoutBonus QualificationsYou put 110% into everything you do, and you're ready for that effort to be appreciatedYou're eager to learn from our CEOYou're ready to level up your Developer Relations skillsYou're looking for leadership & strategy mentorship and experienceCompensation DetailsThis is a part-time contract role starting at around 10 hours per week. The starting rate is $100 per hour but varies based on experience, skills, and tenacity.
