We believe in providing an unmatched experience, every day and everywhere, driven by our people, processes, and technology.\nThe Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. In addition, the Loader Operator will be required to maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility. Furthermore, the Loader Operator will be responsible for the daily pre and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of their assigned machine. In addition, the operator will maintain a safe work environment and be required to follow and be held accountable to company guidelines for safe loader operation. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Loader Operator will facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customers' needs.\nEnsures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.\nOperates company equipment safely.\nAssists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.\nRecords vehicle information accurately and legibly.\nOperates digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.\nSets up yard for auctions within company timelines.\nProvides service to customers as needed.\nMaintains a positive and professional demeanor.\nFollows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).\nMust be able to load and unload vehicles as required.\nMust be able to pass training and safety requirements.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nHS diploma or GED preferred.\nAt least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.\nOne year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.\nExcellent customer service attitude and skills.\nExcellent communication skills, written and verbal.\nPositive attitude/High Integrity.\nAbility to operate heavy equipment.\nMust be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail.\nOccasional O.T. as needed.\nBilingual skills a plus.\n\nPay $21.05 - $23.71 per hour\n\nBenefits Summary:\nMedical/Dental/Vision\n401k plus a company match\nESPP - Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nEAP - Employee Assistance Program (no cost to you)\nVacation & Sick pay\nPaid Company Holidays\nLife and AD&D Insurance\nDiscounts\nAlong with many other employee benefits.\nAt Copart, we are focused on harnessing the power of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
