Insurance Counselor II

A company is looking for a Centralized Insurance Counselor II (remote). Key Responsibilities Conduct telephonic patient insurance education while adhering to compliance parameters Identify and communicate opportunities to improve patient insurance status and alleviate financial burdens Act as a liaison among patients, facility teammates, and billing offices to resolve insurance issues Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one (1) year experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans preferred Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare organization preferred Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Office required Bilingual/Spanish speaking required
