CNC Programmer, Milling Manager (Mastercam/Fanuc)

ISO 13485 and ISO 14000 certified, state-of-the-art CNC equipment, and over 100 years of combined machining expertise on the team. You'll lead the milling department, overseeing programming, setup, and daily operations across 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills. You'll report directly to the General Manager and manage a team of machinists and operators. The company is in growth mode with massive customer demand, so this is a hands-on leadership role where you program, troubleshoot, and drive improvements on the floor every day. ? ???????????????? ????????????'???????? ???????? ? Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines using Mastercam Lead setup and calibration of 5-axis mills running Fanuc controls Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings for precision orthopedic components Supervise daily machining operations, guiding tooling selection, fixture setup, and process improvements Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve workflow Collaborate with design engineers using SolidWorks or CATIA to review designs and improve manufacturability Train team members on CNC programming techniques, machine operation, and precision measuring instruments Troubleshoot programming and machine errors to keep production running ? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ? ????????????????????????????????: 5 to 10 years of CNC programming experience with Mastercam Hands-on experience programming and setting up 5-axis CNC mills Proficient with Fanuc controls Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation 10+ years of total machining experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing machinists or CNC programmers ? ???????????????????? ????????????????????????: Experience with palletized 5-axis mills Horizontal milling experience SolidWorks or CATIA proficiency Vericut simulation software experience Medical device, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing background Experience machining exotic materials (titanium, stainless steel, PEEK) Lean manufacturing implementation experience ? ???????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????? ? ???????????????????????? ????????????????: $40.00 to $45.00/hr (or more depending on experience) ????????????????????????????????: Available and expected (minimum 2 hours daily + Saturday hours) ????????????????????: Morning shift, 8 to 10 hour days ????????????????????????????????: Health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) with 4% company match, paid time off ????????????????????????????????: Hawthorne, CA (easy access from Long Beach, Torrance, Gardena, Inglewood, El Segundo) ???????????????????????? ????????????????????????????: Fast.
