In this role, you will contribute to the design and analysis of structural systems for a wide variety of building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, and capable of mentoring junior engineers while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects using materials such as structural steel, cold-formed steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.\n\nPrepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.\n\nUtilize design and analysis software including AutoCAD, Revit, frame analysis software (e.g., RISA), and component design tools such as L-Pile, ENERCALC, or PCA MATS.\n\nLead structural discipline tasks for smaller projects or specific elements of larger projects.\n\nConduct technical reviews of engineering work prepared by other engineers and designers.\n\nPerform field services including site assessments, structural inspections, and construction observations.\n\nCoordinate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and other project team members.\n\nAssist with proposal development, project planning, and structural workhour estimates for projects.\n\nMentor junior engineers and designers, supporting their technical development and project contributions.\n\nSupport business development efforts and assist with marketing initiatives to expand client relationships.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent international degree).\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license in the United States required.\n\nMinimum of 9–10+ years of structural engineering experience depending on education background.\n\nExperience with structural design and analysis of building systems and foundations.\n\nProficiency with structural analysis and design software as well as AutoCAD and Revit.\n\nExperience developing technical specifications and engineering documentation.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.\n\nFamiliarity with federal design criteria such as UFC, DoD, or VA standards is a plus.\n\nAbility to travel and attend project meetings as required.\n\nPre-employment drug test, background check, and valid driver’s license required.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nWe offer a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development and leadership growth.
