Office AssistantPerform general clerical duties including answering phones, taking and distributing messages, sorting mail, translate documents and prepare general correspondence.Use automated telephone system to send out school information as necessary.Build strong working relationships with parents, families and staffCoordinate with schools for student pickups.Communicate with operations staff for delivery of itemsAssist with maintenance of student cumulative files as needed.Assist with maintaining complete and current immunization records for all students.Assist with maintaining emergency medical and contact information for all students.Assist registrar and SIS Manager with management and compliance of student records as needed.Be knowledgeable of all content in school safety binder, including emergency proceduresReport all injuries and other school incidents to the operations team.Perform tasks as an interpreter, when necessary, in whole-school functions and smaller meetings.Manage uniform sales and money from parents, to provide receipts for payments.Provide support to the leadership team as necessary.Other duties as assignedProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with student information systems preferred.Experience supporting office operations of a dispersed work team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, a plusAbility to remain calm under pressure, while interacting in a professional, positive manner with WCPA students, staff and communityExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsFlexible and able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesAble to accurately organize daily office tasksA passion for advancing the education of students in the Central Valley of CaliforniaEnvironment: Office environment; fast paced work, constant interruptions.Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange information, make presentations and communicate over the telephone; seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents and view computer monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects; ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct business.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pmPay Rate: $19.00/Hour.Wonderful College Prep Academy offers highly competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.Full-time staff benefits include medical coverage, dental, vision, and life insurance at no cost to the employee.WCPA offers an optional 403b with company match (5%)Employees have free access to the Wonderful Wellness Center and gym.Framed by the Sierra Nevada to the east and the Coast Ranges to the west, California's Central Valley is one of the world's most productive agricultural regions and the base of The Wonderful Company's agricultural operations.
