We build, integrate, and operationally support our customer's emerging space‑ground systems to include real‑time data processing frameworks, sensor data processing, and data visualization.\n\nThe remote sensing world is expanding and we're building our team to grow with it. This immediate opportunity is for a highly skilled Algorithm Developer and State Estimation Engineer who will support a combination of direct customer programs and internal research and development efforts.\n\nPosition is Hybrid – ~3 days a week onsite in Broomfield, CO (schedule may flex depending on customer needs). Infrequent travel to customer sites may be required.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign, develop and implement guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for various remote sensing applications, including kinematic tracking and data fusion.\n\nDesign, develop, and implement state estimation algorithms, including Kalman Filters, Extended Kalman Filters (EKF), and Unscented Kalman Filters (UKF).\n\nDevelop sensor fusion algorithms to integrate data from multiple sensors of varying phenomena; analyze observability, stability, and convergence properties of estimation algorithms.\n\nDesign and develop tools and simulations for data generation and algorithm development.\n\nParticipate in technical discovery to understand and translate customer desires and requirements.\n\nWork closely with software and systems engineering teams using an Agile development process.\n\nCollaborate with senior systems engineers to discover requirements and shape program execution kickoff.\n\nLeverage technical expertise to generate a Basis of Estimate (BOE) for a scope of work.\n\nCreate technical documentation and help refine how the organization communicates its technical capabilities to potential customers.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nAbility to obtain a U.S. DoW Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).\n\nBS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a similar relevant field.\n\n10+ years of experience with relevant application design and development.\n\nStrong understanding of estimation theory, including ABG Filter, Kalman filter, Madgwick filter, and Bayesian estimation.\n\nStrong understanding of 6‑DoF concepts and frame transformations.\n\nExpertise in sensor fusion and multi‑sensor integration techniques.\n\nAbility to identify, research, and implement sensor data processing and tracking algorithms to meet customer needs.\n\nProficiency in Python.\n\nClear verbal and written communication skills with development team members.\n\nDesired Skills & Experience\n\nInterim DoW Secret clearance or higher preferred.\n\nProficiency in C++ for algorithm implementation.\n\nExperience with real‑time processing and embedded systems.\n\nExperience with FPGA development and deployment.\n\nGeneral knowledge of Systems Engineering practices, Product Management, and Agile development methodologies.\n\nApplication Deadline\nJuly 13, 2026\n\nSalary\n$145,000 – $190,000 USD\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
