Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Job Function: Shift: 30 hrs | 3x10 Days 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM |Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging by properly positioning patients and adjusting equipment according to physician orders Set up, operate, and maintain radiologic equipment in alignment with all safety, policy, and procedural standards Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients to ensure comfort, understanding, and cooperation Assess and maintain patient safety, physical comfort, and emotional well‑being throughout the imaging process Apply radiation‑safety best practices to minimize exposure for both patients and staff Ensure equipment readiness, troubleshoot issues, and support smooth daily workflow Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations Job Requirements: Graduate of an Accredited Radiography Program Active NJ State RT License ARRT Certification BLS Certification required Minimum 18 months to 3 years of X-Ray Tech experience Must be comfortable working in the OR Experience with GE imaging equipment required Ability to work independently in a high-volume acute care setting Strong communication and critical thinking skills Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
