Responsibilities span analyzing user requirements to derive design and performance standards, developing and debugging software, integrating systems, and implementing algorithms to meet performance goals. The ideal candidate has front end experience, translates UX/UI designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces, and mentors junior developers while collaborating closely with system engineers and product stakeholders to resolve technical problem areas.\n\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and mentor a team of UI/frontend developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review\n\nArchitect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks\n\nTranslate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces\n\nCollaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring efficient data flow between front-end and back-end systems\n\nContribute to full-stack development efforts as needed, including backend services, database interactions, and deployment pipelines\n\nEstablish and enforce frontend coding standards, best practices, and component reuse across the team\n\nPartner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation\n\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks, crossbrowser issues, and technical debt\nParticipate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decisionmaking\nEnsure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development\nREQUIRED SKILLS\nTwelve (12) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\n\nSeven (7) years' experience in Software Database and Repository Interface Development\n\nStrong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)\nFullstack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design\nFamiliarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud is a plus)\nSECURITY REQUIREMENTS\nCurrent/Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.\n\nRiverstone Enterprise Solutions is an equal-opportunity employer.
