The Backend Software Developer will modify existing GOTS code and integrate open-source software solutions for display and analysis within Aeronautical Production Systems.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nCoding, developing, integrating, and debugging Python, React, C#, and other languages. Strong familiarity with Python Flask, Mapping, Gitlab/DevOps, and ESRI development.\r\nWriting validation tests against existing code baselines to ensure the integrity of the code during Agile development efforts.\r\nAssisting with unit testing.\r\nWriting scripts to automate AWS and RDS tasks.\r\nPerforms software systems development, including the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for software enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products.\r\nParticipate in peer reviews and unit testing, and must be adaptable to different responsibilities.\r\nDuties include software requirements analysis and development of software products.\r\nThis role is responsible for identifying software and hardware dependencies and capacities.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience OR\r\nMaster's degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR\r\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and 8+ years of related experience.\r\nAdept at leveraging a comprehensive suite of AWS services, including Amazon S3 for storage, EC2 for compute, and Lambda for serverless functions. This expertise is complemented by strong experience in Python and shell scripting to automate cloud operations and streamline infrastructure management.\r\nPossession of an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification is a strong plus.\r\nExperience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.\r\nExperience with TypeScript, Node.js/Express, ASP.NET Core Web API, Swagger (Open API), C#, and Postgres.\r\nFamiliarity with REST principles.\r\nExperience with DevSecOps, including Kubernetes and Docker.\r\nExperience with Python and .NET Core (coding, developing, designing, integrating, and debugging).\r\nExperience with Linux Administration (including writing Bash scripts).\r\nExperience scripting to automate AWS and RDS tasks.\r\nExperience using AWS SDK API tools to build on AWS.
