The employee should have strong working knowledge of the types of employee experience, machinery, tools, and supplies required to support field maintenance work.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position has direct reports, which includes Road Technicians and other Fleet Support personnel.\nEssential Functions:\nEvaluate, prioritize, and delegate work among assigned Fleet support staff.\nEnsure subordinates comply with safety and operating rules, procedures, and guidelines.\nEnsure subordinates maintain a clean and safe working environment to protect oneself and others in accordance with all department guidelines and all applicable company safety rules.\nEnsure Road Techs and their vehicles are adequately supported and supplied to perform assigned tasks, to include remote repairs and installations on all types of equipment, including but not limited to, all vehicles, trailers, power operated equipment as well as hand tools.\nTimely and precise branding of equipment in close coordination with the Fleet Controller.\nClosely collaborate with the Fleet Controller and Fleet Care Center to maintain accurate dashboards and scheduling records of time and parts used on specific work order tasks.\nAssist in dispatching maintenance and repair work orders.\nProtect organizational information by keeping personnel, pricing, promotion, purchase order, and credit-limit information confidential.\nCompetencies:\nKnowledge of reporting formats and data entry/tracking systems.\nSkill in being timely and dependable.\nSkill in leading others.\nSkill in completing or organizing documentation.\nSkill in data entry with attention to detail.\nAbility to communicate effectively on the telephone.\nAbility to listen and communicate verbally and in writing.\nAbility to work in a high pace environment with a high energy level.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality with sensitive company and employee information.\nAbility to demonstrate emotional control in stressful situations.\nWork Environment:\nGenerally, works in an office environment and visits work sites as needed.\nTravel Requirements:\nAbility to travel up to 25% of work time.\nRequired education and experience:\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.\nTwo years’ experience in repair management or related field.\nPreferred education and experience:\nAssociate degree in business or related field.\nFive years’ experience in repair management or related field.\nAdditional eligibility requirements:\nNo other eligibility requirements.\nWork authorization requirements:\nMust meet I-9 requirements.\n\nPosition requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.\nWork authorization requirements:\nMust meet I-9 requirements.\nAffirmative Action/EEO statement: Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services provide equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
