The job will involve standing up new processes and new casting lines, starting with a clean sheet superalloy vacuum investment casting equipment, as well as working with production to ensure the line is running well. We are currently hiring for Level 3IC.ResponsibilitiesWorking with the equipment and production team to stand up new casting equipment, with a view to excellent casting qualityCasting setup and design - feeding system design, simulation, and iterationDiagnosing of production issues. Development, implementation, and testing of corrective actionsHelping to set technical direction of Rangeview's casting processMinimum Qualifications5 years minimum of professional experience as a product or process engineer in advanced casting processesDegree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or similar, or evidence of exceptional abilityFamiliarity with the investment casting process, best practices, tools, common issuesFamiliarity with vacuum casting processes for reactive alloysHigh ownership and ability to work independently on difficult problemsUS Person - due to ITAR requirementsPreferred Skills/ExperienceExperience in single crystal or DS investment castingExperience with cored turbine blade productionExperience in AS9100 Aerospace manufacturingExperience with SLA printingWorked for a high-growth tech company / start-upAdditional RequirementsMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as neededMust be able to establish procedures for providing 24/7 on-call support for critical business activities and emergency situationsSummary Pay RangePlease note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline.
