This opportunity involves working closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing team to build prototypes, support New Product Integration (NPI) and productions builds.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nInspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications.\n\nExamines electronic components like bare boards, COTS items and, items fabricated to inhouse drawings for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit, inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications\n\nReviews supplier certifications, packing slips test reports to insure compliance with Lockheed Martin flow down requirements\n\nIdentify, label, and document defective, damaged, or non-conforming materials.\n\nProvide direct Quality Assurance ownership and oversite of Receiving Inspection labs.\n\nParticipate in regular MRBs (material review board) to ensure nonconforming material/process is appropriately handled.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nAbility to obtain an Active DOD Secret Clearance; requires U.S. Citizenship\n\nBachelor's degree is not required for this role. High school diploma in any STEM major should work.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\n\n5+ years Quality Assurance experience in a Receiving Inspection environment\n\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints.\n\nGood understanding of AS9100 standard and support with internal & external audits as required.\n\nProficiency in using precision measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).\n\nHigh level of accuracy in identifying defects and maintaining records.\n\nStrong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems\n\n2 - 4 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving\n\n1 - 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality\n\n2 - 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control\n\n4 - 6 years of experience in Quality Systems\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nPrevious work experience in Aerospace , NASA and/or FAA programs.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\n\nAbility to tailor level of effort based on customer requirements and expectations.\n\nWorks independently with limited supervision.\n\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\n\nUSPRO is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, disability and/or other protected categories.
