Must interface across the SME's and customers in an environment where the workforce is skilled, valued and specialized in the applications. Serves as the key management link across the programs but with the ability to navigate and understand technical project concepts and challenges. Acts as the interface from VSolvit management to the customer at a local level as required. Oversees staff that handles day to day operations. Provides capture management and support for follow on and new opportunities related to existing programs.\r\nAs with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nResponsible for overall program management of assigned projects and programs.\r\nLead work accomplishment across multiple programs and multiple SMEs.\r\nIdentifies all possible challenges and institutes corrective actions to address them.\r\nDefines and institutes strategic and operational goals to achieve desired performance.\r\nManages project team(s) to formulate and track task plans and deliverables.\r\nEnsures conformance with program task schedules and costs. Identifies, analyzes and defines project/program requirements and scope.\r\nOversees assigned projects and programs to ensure standards and processes are adhered to, and process improvement opportunities are executed.\r\nEnsures CMMI compliance requirements are implemented and adhered to.\r\nCommunicates effectively across a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.\r\nExercises delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs.\r\nEstablishes and maintains customer relationships and acts as technical support liaison for all Customers.\r\nDevelop intimacy with customers and business partners; generates and maintains revenue of business lines.\r\nOversees project financials and contract deliverables.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience\r\nDemonstrated 8+ years of technical software development supervisory experience\r\nDemonstrated 4+ years' Project Management supporting DoD or other federal technology programs\r\nDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills\r\nUnited States Citizenship Required\r\nMust have an Active DoD Secret clearance OR ability to reactivate a clearance held within the past 24 months\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nPMP or similar project management related certification\r\nDemonstrated 10+ years of related technical and supervisory experience\r\nDemonstrated 8+ years' Project Management supporting DoD or other federal technology initiatives\r\nDemonstrated experience in management, and multi-task / multi-function projects\r\nDemonstrated working knowledge of Department of Defense and/or federal procurement practices.\r\nDemonstrated team builder with strong people skills, experienced in creating and maintaining cohesive teams\r\nExperience in preparing reports and presenting briefings to customer and company executives\r\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills\r\nDoD with US Navy experience is a plus\r\nExperience with managing programs containing both front and back end development and multiple teams\r\nDemonstrated knowledge of CMMI\r\nProcess analysis and process improvement experience\r\nCompany Summary\r\nJoin the VSolvit Team!
