{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"957dd69284a8a4e84c083f9a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/957dd69284a8a4e84c083f9a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/957dd69284a8a4e84c083f9a","title":"CNC Machine Operator","description":"Job Description:\n\nHourly Rate: $25-40\n\nSummary:\n\nCNC machinists produce parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; adhere to quality and safety standards; complete accurate quality records as per SIS ISO standard requirements; and maintain the minimal daily maintenance requirements of equipment and supplies.\n\nEssential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:\n\n(Include the following; however, other duties may apply.)\n\nPerforms all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.\nAbility to operate one machine independently.\nReads and interprets basic mechanical blueprints proficiently.\nAble to convert from/to metric and imperial, fractional, and decimal.\nProperly and safely loads and unloads parts and raw material in CNC Machinery.\nUses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.\nConducts quality inspection on materials for defects before and after machining.\nPerforms daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC Machinery.\nUtilizes and abides by ISO requirements and SIS's safety procedures.\nComplies with all quality policies, specification, regulations, and instructions.\nCorrectly utilizes SIS's ERP manufacturing system (Epicor), by logging into and out of each production job assigned to them, with accurate job information daily.\nCorrectly identify common materials.\nMeets production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality.\nParticipate in required meetings and training.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nQualifications:\n\nTo perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED Required\n\nLanguage Skills:\n\nEffectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.\n\nMathematical Skills:\n\nAbility to perform basic mathematical computations; ability to convert metric units correctly and apply the conversions to practical situations.\n\nReasoning Ability:\n\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
