independent research institutions.\nStreamlyne is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a project in Los Angeles with the following qualifications.\nExpected duration of the project is one year.\nResponsibilities\nImplement enterprise solutions based on OpenShift by Red Hat, integrating with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technologies including software defined networking (SDN).\nWork with application development tools including Jenkins, Eclipse IDE and Git.\nCreate and maintain container automation solutions using OpenShift and Ansible.\nCollaborate with project team members to meet timelines and goals.\nContribute to project documentation and diagrams including quality assurance and ticket and bug management,\nMentor and transfer knowledge to coworkers and 3rd parties.\nWork with senior staff to increase adoption of automation techniques and DevOps and Agile processes to improve software delivery including business-IT alignment, infrastructure and application uptime and availability, and time-to-market.\nDesign and advocate solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points and automation methods.\nStandardize open source Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and DevOps solution delivery in Ansible playbooks.\nDeliver presentations to upper management and users.\nProvide as needed after hours support at the discretion of the Portal Development Section Manager.\nQualifications\nFour (4) years of experience within the last six (6) years performing Linux OS administration\nTwo (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years performing all of the following:\nShell\nCoding in PHP and Java\nCoding in Python or Ruby\nExperience with web security\nTwo (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years performing all of the following:\nRed Hat OpenShift security\nBackup, archiving, and disaster recovery\nOpenShift backup server/cartridge.\nSSL\nApplication snapshots\nThree (3) years of experience within the last four (4) years performing all of the following:\nGitHub\nContinuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins or Altassian\nOne (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years performing all of the following:\nOpenShift 3.0 or Docker\nKubernetes\nAnsible or Puppet or Chef\nTwo (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years supporting
