Our work emphasizes authentic, collaborative therapeutic relationships rooted in empathy, deep listening, and respect for each clients identity and lived experience.Position OverviewWe are seeking psychotherapists (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) to provide outpatient therapy across:Midtown Manhattan (hybrid)Nassau County (Mineola/Garden City) (virtual currently)Albany (virtual currently)This role begins part-time and transitions to full-time as caseload builds.ResponsibilitiesProvide psychotherapy to individuals, and when appropriate, couples and familiesConduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain timely clinical documentationManage a consistent caseload and schedule independentlyApply trauma-informed, relational, identity-affirming, and integrative approachesAdhere to clinical, administrative, and ethical standardsEngage in supervision, consultation, and ongoing professional developmentScreen potential clients to ensure appropriateness of fit and scope of practiceDevelop and maintain a professional presence that supports caseload growth, including participation in marketing and visibility efforts such as online profiles, social media, and related outreach activitiesContribute to the growth and development of the practice through collaborative projects and team-based effortsQualificationsNYS license or limited permit (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC)13+ years of clinical experience preferredExperience with outpatient and/or insurance based practice preferredStrong organizational and documentation skillsAbility to manage a consistent caseload with reliabilityComfort with both autonomous work and collaborative practice-building effortsIdeal CandidateValues relational, humanistic, and insight-oriented psychotherapyComfortable working with identity, trauma, and systemic influencesOrganized, self-directed, and accountableInterested in building a stable, ongoing caseloadWilling to participate in marketing and practice visibility efforts in a professional and thoughtful wayCompensationCompensation ranges $50-$55 per clinical hour depending on experience.Benefits EligibilityThis position begins part-time while building a caseload.Full-time status, including eligibility for health, dental, vision, and PTO, is available to clinicians maintaining approximately 30 client sessions per week.To ApplyPlease submit your resume and a cover letter describing your clinical experience and interests.Learn more about our practice:LiberationPsychotherapy.comThis position is temporarily remote.
