This is a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where the engineer may work across different teams and initiatives based on evolving business priorities.The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on Angular developer who can take technical ownership, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and quickly adapt to new projects and requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript.Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders.Take ownership of technical solutions from design through implementation and delivery.Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end development standards and best practices.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute across multiple teams or initiatives.Ensure applications follow appropriate UI, accessibility, security, and development best practices.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Angular.Strong TypeScript and modern front-end development experience.Experience building production-quality user interfaces and web applications.Strong technical ownership or lead-level development experience.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing projects.Preferred QualificationsExperience with AI coding tools or AI development agents.Experience in financial services, banking, lending, or personal loans.Experience with RxJS and reactive programming.Experience working with modern UI design and front-end development practices.Interview ProcessThe interview will be approximately 1 hour and will include a combination of:Coding assessmentAngular/technical discussionBehavioral questionsPanel discussionLocationMcLean, VA is preferred, followed by Chicago, IL or New York, NY.
