Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 1 year of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Southern Illinois hospital.Job Details• Night shift hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM,• Weekend work required as needed,• On-call required at least twice per month,• 13-week contract,• Respiratory Therapy department within a non-profit health system recognized for cardiac, cancer, stroke, bariatric, and rehabilitation services,• Reassignment to other units may be required as needed,Job Requirements• Associate's degree required,• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience,• Active RRT certification required,• Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license required (license required if applicable),• Current BLS and NRP certifications required,• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration,Additional Information• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team,• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge planning,• Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care as ordered by the physician,• Maintain ongoing communication with medical and nursing staff throughout care delivery,
