You do not need to be a computer technician to be successful in this role. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands, and eager to learn.\n\nThe Electronics Warehouse Associate works alongside our ITAD Operations team to receive and organize equipment, process inventory, harvest reusable components, prepare assets for resale or recycling, and fulfill customer orders. This role also provides an opportunity to develop hands-on technical skills and build a foundation for future growth into an ITAD Technician position.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nReceive, sort, label, and process incoming laptops, desktops, servers, and other electronic equipment\nMove and organize inventory throughout the ITAD warehouse operations\nInspect equipment and identify basic hardware and components with training\nSafely disassemble equipment and harvest reusable components using basic hand tools\nAssist with basic part replacements, upgrades, and equipment preparation under the direction of ITAD Technicians\nScan assets and accurately enter inventory information into company systems\nSupport established data security and chain-of-custody procedures\nPrepare equipment for testing, resale, recycling, or downstream processing\nPick, pack, and prepare e-commerce and other customer orders for shipment\nFollow established quality, safety, and productivity standards\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area\nWork collaboratively with ITAD Technicians, warehouse associates, and supervisors to keep equipment moving efficiently through the operation\nWhat We're Looking For\nWarehouse, recycling, production, fulfillment, retail, or other hands-on work experience\nInterest in computers, electronics, and learning how technology works\nBasic knowledge of computer hardware or components is helpful, but not required\nComfortable using basic hand tools and learning equipment disassembly\nStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions\nBasic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and warehouse systems\nDependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent productivity and quality standards\nStrong time-management and communication skills\nWillingness to learn, accept coaching, and take direction from supervisors and experienced technicians\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment\nCommitment to following established warehouse and workplace safety procedures\nPhysical Requirements\nRegularly lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds\nOccasionally assist with moving heavier equipment weighing up to 100 pounds using appropriate equipment or team-lifting procedures\nStand and walk for most of the workday\nFrequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch while processing equipment\nOccasionally climb stairs or ladders and work in different areas of the warehouse\nSafely perform repetitive hands-on tasks associated with sorting, disassembly, inventory movement, and order preparation\n\nGrow With Us\n\nThe ITAD Warehouse Associate is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise technology while learning the fundamentals of IT Asset Disposition.
