This role ensures that all welds meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements to support the integrity and functionality of finished productsPerform welding on mainline assemblies such as frames, chassis, and structural componentsRead and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructionsSet up and operate welding equipmentEnsure weld quality meets company and industry standardsInspect competed welds for accuracy, strength, and defectsMaintain proper weld specifications, including bead size, penetration, and alignmentWork efficiently to meet production schedules and task timesCollaborate with team members, inspectors, and supervisors to resolve issuesPerform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting What We’re Looking ForTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position is Mon-Fri, 1pm - 9pmPhysical DemandsAbility to sit for long periods of timecapability to lift materials (up to 40-50 lbs.)Frequent bending, kneeling, and reachingAbility to work in hot or physically demanding environments Experience in a manufacturing environment is required; prior experience in final assembly is preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude.Availability to work the agreed-upon shift.Experience With The Following Is a Plus1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience with structural or production-line welding Why AKG?
