Company DescriptionThe Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD), located in Minnesota, focuses on the sustainable management and conservation of the 186-square-mile Rice Creek Watershed, spanning parts of Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington counties. The district encompasses 28 urban and rural communities, working under the guidance of the RCWD 2020 Watershed Management Plan. RCWD ensures the health of local water resources through activities like lake and stream management, water quality monitoring, natural resource conservation, permitting, and public education. The organization also supports municipalities in meeting EPA requirements.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid Project Manager role. This position plans, develops, and implements water quality and flood mitigation projects in the execution of the District's Watershed Management Plan. With the diversity of responsibilities, you will be able to collaborate with a wide range of project partners, including landowners, local units of government, city departments, agencies, and private and non-profit sectors. The ideal candidate will be experienced in project management, grant and cost-share funding, staff leadership, and collaboration in establishing capital improvement projects. The salary hiring range is $79,167 - $102,815 annually, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits.
