Job Description Registered Nurse – MICU (Night Shift)Overview:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to acutely and critically ill patients. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, evidence-based environment focused on improving outcomes and delivering exceptional patient experiences.Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established standards and best practicesPerform monitoring, procedures, and interventions as ordered by medical providersAccurately document all patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough mannerEducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and ongoing self-careAdvocate for patient safety and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomesParticipate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and departmental performancePromote effective communication and teamwork within the MICUQualifications:Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (higher-acuity experience strongly preferred; strong Med-Surg candidates considered)Education: Associate Degree required; BSN preferredLicensure:Active Florida RN license or Compact State RN license (compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation)Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA) – required within 30 days of hireAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 90 days of hireIdeal candidates demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.Position Details:Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)Work Environment: Collaborative, high-acuity critical care unit focused on patient-centered excellenceCompensation & Benefits:Salary Range: $30.60 – $45.90 per hour (based on experience)Midpoint: $38.25 (approx. 8 years' experience)Shift Differentials:Nights: +$4.25/hrWeekends: +$3.00/hrSign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Nights)Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
