Infant/Toddler Teacher

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves nurturing and guiding infants and toddlers in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, experience working with young children, and a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities aligned with developmental milestones Support children in transitioning between activities smoothly and independently as appropriate for their age Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or caregiving settings such as nannying or babysitting Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices for infant and toddler care Certification in first aid is highly preferred; CPR certification is a plus Experience with classroom management, behavior management, and working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play and exploration Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of young children in a daycare setting Relevant educational background in early childhood education or related fields is desirable This role is vital in shaping the early educational experiences of young children.
