The position requires disciplined execution, effective stakeholder coordination, and a strong understanding of Department of Defense acquisition policies and lifecycle processes.\n\nRole/Responsibilities/Qualifications:\n\nKey responsibilities include:\nSupport day-to-day acquisition, program management, and business operations activities for a major space acquisition program.\nDraft program presentations, correspondence, briefings, and other acquisition-related documentation.\nCoordinate and respond to tasks from organizations across the service, department, and external agencies.\nSupport acquisition milestones, program decisions, lifecycle planning, and program execution activities.\nMonitor statutory, regulatory, policy, and procedural updates and help ensure program compliance.\nAdvise Government leadership on Department of Defense acquisition policies, processes, and lifecycle requirements.\nBuild and maintain productive relationships with external stakeholders and coordinate required reviews, approvals, and concurrence.\nTrack acquisition actions and ensure assigned tasks are carried through from initiation to completion.\nSupport the safe shipping, handling, accountability, and storage of sensitive program documents and assets.\nUse Microsoft Office applications to develop, maintain, and communicate program information, schedules, analyses, and status updates.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree.\n5 or more years of experience with the Department of Defense acquisition system, lifecycle planning, program management, and business operations.\nExperience supporting key Department of Defense acquisition program milestones and decisions.\nExperience with project or program execution and lifecycle management.\nExperience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.\nExperience applying DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.80, DoDI 5000.85, and DoDI 5000.87.\nAbility to manage tasks through completion.\nAbility to advise Department of Defense leadership on acquisition policies and processes.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting proposal technical evaluations.\nExperience developing competitive or non-competitive requests for proposals.\nExperience supporting the development and execution of Department of Defense space acquisition programs.\nExperience with GPS and the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing mission area.\nExperience supporting the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center or U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command.\nExperience with GPS user equipment.\nExperience with Other Transaction Agreements.\nExcellent organizational, verbal communication, and written communication skills.\nMaster's degree.\nAcquisition Professional Development Program Program Management Level I or higher certification.\nProject Management Professional certification.\nClearance & Additional Requirements\nSecret clearance is required.\nApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\n\nLocation:\nThis position is located in El Segundo, CA\n\nCompensation:\nThe typical salary range for this position is USD $85,000 - $120,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
