This role will coordinate and manage complex projects across multiple locations, supporting teams both locally and internationally, ensuring technology and product roadmap targets are met while maintaining a sustainable workflow pace.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the development and management of detailed schedules, budgets, dashboards, resource plans, and work plans for technical deliverables across complex, multi-disciplinary hardware R&D, cryogenic, and facilities engineering programs.\nDrive on-time, in-scope and on-budget execution through detailed project planning, risk management, and proactive issue resolution under conditions of technical uncertainty.\nOrganize and coordinate work across multiple cross functional teams, including technical and operational teams, serving as the primary integration point.\nLead regular status meetings, project reviews, milestone reviews, and end-of-task retrospectives to monitor progress and support decision-making.\nEnsure timely, clear communication of strategy, scope changes, risks, and progress to technical teams, partners, stakeholders, and leadership via reports, dashboards, and presentations.\nIdentify opportunities to accelerate schedules or develop required technologies, including requirements definition and evaluation of new efforts.\nImplement and continuously improve program management processes for tracking schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and change control.\nEnsure programs align with organizational goals while maintaining safe, sustainable, and operationally effective execution.\nDevelop and maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering drawings as well as test plans and results to ensure compliance, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing across global teams.\nSupport iterative development cycles, including design, build, test, and learn phases, while balancing schedule, cost, and technical risk.\nSupport supply chain\nYOU MUST HAVE:\nBachelor's degree minimum\nMinimum of 6+ years of experience in milestone-driven technical program management, including coordination and delivery of R&D hardware, facilities, or site operations\nDue to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status\nDue to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or a Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.\nWE VALUE:\nMaster’s degree in a STEM field strongly preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nPrior experience delivering first-of-a-kind projects and products\nComfort applying project management practices to the ambiguity of R&D projects\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification\nExperience managing technology-based projects through the full life cycle, including schedule, risk, and budget management\nStrong familiarity with project management, development, and collaboration tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, MS365 suite, and Smartsheet\nExperience using Waterfall, Lean, Agile, or Kanban methodologies and tailoring practices to achieve optimal results\nExperience working in a complex engineering environment, promoting collaboration and fostering a strong teamwork mentality\nCompensation & Benefits:\nIncentive Eligible – Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable\nThe pay range for this role is $146,000 – $178,000 annually.
