quantum device fabrication.Oversee development of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software, ML-based inspection systems, and research tools.Collaborate closely with scientists, hardware engineers, process engineers, and program managers;Translate scientific and engineering requirements into scalable software solutions and system designs.Make strategic design decisions and participate in architecture, code reviews, and system planning.Drive ML-based initiatives for automated optical inspection of wafer defects.Lead development of LLM-powered tools for querying, analyzing, and visualizing fabrication data;Build software infrastructure that supports scaling quantum hardware manufacturing workflows.Qualifications:7+ years of experience as a software engineer, developer, or related role.3+ years of engineering team management experience;5+ years of experience in system design and architecture (scalability, reliability, design patterns).Strong understanding of full software development lifecycle including coding standards, testing, deployment, and operations.Experience working with cross-functional teams and product or program management.Preferred:5+ years of engineering leadership experience.Experience managing full software development lifecycle in production environments.Experience working on ML systems, inspection systems, or data-driven industrial applications.Familiarity with quantum hardware fabrication workflows or scientific computing environments.Benefits and Compensation:Salary range: 184,900 to 250,200 USD annually (Pasadena,
