This role focuses on reducing scrap, ensuring product quality, and supporting molding setup, startup, teardown, and production runs. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail?oriented, and career?minded, with experience in injection molding processes and troubleshooting.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**+ Perform mold setups, changeovers, startups, teardowns, and support production runs.+ Monitor and verify machine cycles, cavitation, and setup parameters for accuracy and performance.+ Conduct advanced mold troubleshooting and make process adjustments as needed.+ Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMs) on molds and machines and document all machine performance and adjustments.+ Communicate with Quality Assurance to prevent nonconforming products and maintain product quality standards.+ Maintain machine cleanliness and perform light repairs on molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment.+ Assist with shift changes and machine repairs when required.+ Identify cosmetic, dimensional, and functional defects and take corrective action.+ Support development and maintenance of process documentation and mold performance records.+ Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.+ Assist with training new employees.+ Perform housekeeping duties, special projects, and other tasks as assigned.**Core Competencies**+ Ability to set up, adjust, and maintain auxiliary equipment such as end?of?arm tooling and visual management systems.+ Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.+ Ability to identify and implement process improvements.+ Experience supporting documentation and recordkeeping for molds and process performance.+ Career?minded with a collaborative approach to achieving department and company goals.**Required Education & Experience**+ High school diploma or GED required.+ **3-5+ years of hands-on experience** as an Injection Molding Process Technician, including mold setups, changeovers, troubleshooting, process optimization, and light PMs.**Preferred Qualifications**+ Formal training in **RJG, Scientific Molding, Systematic Molding, or Decoupled Molding** (highly preferred).+ Experience in **Lean Manufacturing** environments.As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
