Qualified individuals will participate in the design and development of analytical methods and will perform routine tests. The candidate will receive general instructions and assignments from his/her supervisor and accomplish the tasks with minimal supervision. The candidate is expected to be self-motivated, well-organized, and highly productive. Our company thrives as one cohesive team where individuals must be willing to take responsibilities outside his/her core competencies and learn new skills. This presents a tremendous opportunity for expanding an individual’s knowledge and career.\nJob Functions:\nConduct analytical assay development and support process development for various projects.\nGenerate SOPs, technical reports, and other related documents.\nPerform general lab tests, such as plasmid preparation, protein concentration determination, PCR, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, ELISA, HPLC, and cell culture etc.\nMaintain lab supplies, reagents, and common equipment.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor in biological science or related scientific disciplines, with 0-3 years’ experience in biotech or pharmaceutical company.\nFast learner for instrument operation and for data analysis.\nA highly motivated personality is a must.\nAn accountable/responsible personality is a must.\nMulti-task ability and excellent team player is a must.\nWillingness to take on new responsibilities.\nPrevious hands-on experience of analytical technologies, such as PCR, SDS-PAGE, HPLC, ELISA is a plus.\nProven record of trouble shooting is a plus.\nThis position may require you standing/sitting/walking in the lab for routinely 8 hours and sometimes up to 12 hours, as well as lifting weight up to 30 pounds.\nCompensation:\nJecho offers a competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and excellent benefits package.\nJecho is an equal opportunity employer.\nDisclaimer\nJecho Labs is an equal opportunity employer.
