Under the direction of Slot Operations, this person will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test, repair and maintain the slot machines and related gaming equipment.Essential Job FunctionsMay include but are not limited to:Performs all repairs and service requirements necessary for Slot machines and related gaming equipmentTrain and coach Slot Tech IPerforms installation, configuration, diagnostic testing, and final testing of all slot machines and associated equipment in accordance with the manufactures Operation & Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.Remove and replace failed replaceable units during installation and upgrades in accordance with the manufactures Operation and Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.Ensures all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards.Rebuilds parts/equipment during down times, and maintains the parts inventory as assignedPrioritize workloads to meet business demandsCirculates through the assigned area performing repairs as necessaryEnsures that all slot/storage areas are cleaned and organizedResponsible for the initial set up and testing of all new slot productsCompletes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legiblyAssists in the training of subordinates and the development of new methods and techniques for training manualsMaintains the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all timesConducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.Performs other duties as requiredQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent with mechanical/ electronic aptitude requiredMinimum one year Slot Repair experience in a casino environmentThe ability to use basic hand tools and testing equipment and exhibits superior communications skills and abilities.Working knowledge or computers and practical knowledge preferredMust possess ability to solve practical problems using technical and industry knowledgeCandidate must have electro-mechanical skillsEffectively use manufacturer documents to troubleshoot and repair components i.e. Schematics, Principals of Operations Manuals, and Technical Manuals.Candidate must display a constant commitment to excellence regardless of the task or responsibility.Candidate must be able to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures. Candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to successfully interface with all levels of the organizationAbility to successfully manage multiple projectsTime management and project management skillsCollaboration and flexibility requiredKnowledge of Database and Internet communication technologiesKnowledge of RAM Clear, IGT, WMS, and Bally systemsWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to; use hands, reach with hands and arms, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, talk and hear. Also required are frequent, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting.
