Materials Manager
Position is responsible for maintaining production standards to meet customers’ requirements, which includes: scheduling, communication, productivity, labor and inventory controls and efficiency standards. Must ensure quality and customer service is maintained at the highest level on a daily basis.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures unit maintains production standards
Ensures Labor and Inventory Controls are in place and are effective
Ensures interdepartmental communication occurs regularly
Assist in the development and training of subordinates
Work with management staff to improve performance of the unit
Prepares administrative reports as required
Responsible for safety, quality and compliance to customer specifications
Qualifications
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent required
Some college preferred
Work Experience:
Must have 3 years of supervisory/management experience, scheduling and financial acumen
In-flight catering experience is highly desired, or experience in a high-volume food service industry
Current or previous labor relations experience is a plus, but not required
Experience with cycle counts, inventory control, process mapping, vendor relations and continuous improvement a plus
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
Candidate should be comfortable with all levels of employees and have the ability to drive positive program change
Must have strong and effective leadership skills, and successfully manage staff assigned to liquor and equipment.
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Ability to train others required.
Must have the ability to give negative and positive feedback to employees on a daily basis.
Excellent time management skills required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication and leadership skills required.
Must be innovative and have the ability to make changes to the operation as needed to further improve the work environment and unit performance.
Basic computer skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred
Language / Communication Skills:
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Pay: $76,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
