We can't do it without you.\n\nJack Henry's Deposit Development team is seeking to hire a motivated individual to work within the iSeries Deposit team as a Senior Software Engineer. Candidates for this position will be responsible to work in an agile development process to ensure complete and accurate software solutions. This includes working collaboratively within the Deposit development team to help research and create software requirements, test, and promote solutions as a self-organizing and cross-functional team. Software solutions for this team include, but are not limited to, ACH, Wires, Analysis, Sweeps and other general Deposit and Time Deposit functions.\n\nWhat you'll be responsible for:\n\nCompletes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.\nPerforms system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis.\nProvides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.\nProvides both individual and budget-level tasks and product effort estimates/costs.\nEnsures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production, both at an individual and team level.\nDevelops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.\nCreates required technical documentation.\nAdheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. Participates in the definition and documentation of standards.\nCollaboratively works with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.\nCollaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.\nPerforms release validation testing and beta support for projects.\nResearches problems and develops solutions to the problems.\nConducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.\nAssists in training and mentoring less experienced peers.\nMay contribute to product architecture.\nMay assist less experienced peers.\nMay perform other job duties as assigned.\n\nWhat you'll need to have:\n\nMinimum 4 years of professional programming experience.\nMinimum 2 years of experience with RPG, SQL, and DB2.\n\nWhat would be nice for you to have:\n\nBachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, or computer science degree preferred.\nExperience or knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies\nExperience with or knowledge of SOA architecture\nExperience with or knowledge of XML\nExperience with JHA Deposits Core Banking (SilverLake or CIF 20/20)\n\nIf you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this opportunity.
